CHECKLIST FOR GETTING INVOLVED WITH CRES RESEARCH
CRES welcomes student participation.
To get involved, you need to provide CRES with the following information:
- Your complete contact information.
- A short statement of your interests and relevant background (one
page is sufficient).
- A copy of your transcript (no need for an official one, we just
want to see what classes you have taken and how well you did in them).
- One or two names of faculty or research staff who could be
contacted if we wanted to get more information about you.
- Whether you expect/need to be paid.
- How many hours per week you could be involved.
- Any other information you would like to provide.
Please provide the above information in two forms:
- Hardcopy (to the CRES executive assistant in RTH 413)
- As a single URL to
a web page that has the material in PDF, for easy access.
You will
need to scan in your transcript. Note that simply providing the
URL to your home web page, which would require CRES members to surf
around for information about you, is not acceptable.
