| RESEARCH |
CRES research is conducted in over 8 different laboratories, and
involves over 60 (and constantly increasing) physical robots, ranging from
hoppers and helicopters to mobile robot teams to humanoids. The major areas of
robotics research being studied include mobile, humanoid, molecular, and
reconfigurable robotics, as well as embedded systems. The majority of these
efforts are interdisciplinary in nature, involving biological inspiration and a
variety of application domains, ranging from medicine to art. For a list of
